Ground-breaking innovations in mobile communications, including an all-IP based EV-DO (Evolution Data Only) and CDMA2000 1X ReleaseA system, are to be unveiled by ZTE Corporation, China’s largest global supplier of telecommunications systems, at this month’s 3G World Congress at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

At its stand in Hall 7 (booth 1104), ZTE will be highlighting its capabilities across the mobile technology spectrum. The Hong Kong exhibition comes just a month after the company’s technology stole the show at China’s leading exhibition PT Expo Comm in Beijing.

“Our arrival at the 3G World Congress and Exhibition 2004 comes at a time when both our end users and partners around the world are demanding diversified solutions and more advanced technical support from telecommunications research and development,” remarked, Pang Shengqing, vice general manager of ZTE’s marketing division. “This is a demand that ZTE is well-prepared to meet.” During the exhibition, ZTE will be unveiling its groundbreaking research results in 3G, as well as cutting-edge WCDMA technologies that have already thrilled the telecommunications industry and created exciting new possibilities for its partners in the applications market.

As the leader in advanced telecommunications technology, ZTE will be demonstrating a number of CDMA and WCDMA products and applications at the exhibition – technologies that are sure to capture the attention of vendors and operators. The company will also be delivering keynote presentations at the seminars during the Congress and Exhibition.

“We provide a total wireless solution, incorporating CDMA, GSM and PHS and our CDMA alone has been adopted in more than 20 countries.” said Mr Pang.Shengqing.

ZTE is also experiencing major growth in handset sales, Last month at Expo Comm in Beijing it stunned the world with the launch of its revolutionary F808 – the world’s smallest 3G handset.
