French government approved cell phone jamming in cinemas in France

By now it was illegal to use such devices, but French government gave up to demands of film industry.

The only phone calls possible will be emergency calls. Apparently many people were giving up going to cinema in France because they were discourage with people using cell phones there.

Previously using jamming device (blocking cell phones) was penalized with a fine of 30 000 Euro, but now it is legal and cell phone jammers are available for just 440 (the ones produced by British company "Starport").
