Aptly titled 'CHATUP', the application is accessible to 15 million SMART subscribers (both prepaid and postpaid), enabling them to chat with their families and friends through their mobile phones. To get started, the user just needs to type 'CHATUP' and send it to 231 and he/she will be charged 2.50 Peso per message transaction.

'CHATUP' is based on ACL's latest offering on Wireless Instant Messaging solution which has been customized to suit the taste of the Filipino market place. The service is available via SMS, which comes packed with popular services that enable a Filipino to reach out to their families & friends across the globe.
