Cleopatra brewing May 28, 2004; It seems that multi-platform game development, rather than one-platform only, is the key to success... G3 STUDIOS LAUNCHES CLEOPATRA ON BREW PHONES G3 Studios, a premier developer and publisher of video games for cell phones, handheld devices, Pocket PC and other platforms, has announced today the launch of “Cleopatra” on the Verizon Wireless and Metro PCS networks. Collect stars, kill snakes and avoid mummies as you guide Cleo through the towns and tombs of ancient Egypt. Armed with only a boomerang, you'll need to keep your wits about you to complete all 16 levels of gameplay in this furious side-scrolling game. “Cleopatra is a wonderfully racy game that pushes the current generation of cell phones to their limits,” indicated Guido Henkel, CEO of G3 Studios. “We are most proud to finally be able to deliver this game into the hands of the Brew consumers to see for themselves.” “Cleopatra” is a side-scrolling jump and run action game, developed by UK-based High Energy Magic for J2ME phones. The game has been ported to Brew and localized for additional Spanish and Portuguese language support by G3 Studios, and is published exclusively through G3 Studios. At this time versions for the Audiovox CDM-8900 and LG vx6000 handsets are available only. Additional versions to support a series of the most popular Brew handsets will be launched shortly, including versions for the Motorola t720, LG vx4400, LG vx4500, LG vx4600, Audiovox CDM-8410, Audiovox CDM-8600, Samsung a530, Samsung a610 and others.
