BenQ’s own brands in China will increase by 50% The golden week in China ended on the past Sunday. According to BenQ, the sales of handsets picked up quite well during the vacation. Around 40,000 to 50,000 handsets were sold for one single model. BenQ estimates that sales of its self-owned brands in May in China will grow 50% more than the same period of last year. The May golden week has always been a hot season for tourism, but a relatively quiet week for IT products. However, as the sales of handsets and related products began this year with price promotions, more consumers went out to enjoy a shopping spree during the vacation. Not long ago, BenQ launched S670, its second handset model in China. With the product line being completed now, the power of handset sales will be further reinforced. Currently, BenQ carries a fold-up model, S660, in China, selling around 40,000 handsets in March and April respectively. Source: Computex Online from Taiwan Back to other news index |
