MFORMA Group Inc., the global publisher and distributor of wireless entertainment content in the U.S. and Europe, has acquired MobileGame Korea (MoGame), a leading developer and publisher of mobile games content in Korea, in a transaction that gives MFORMA a permanent presence in Korea and adds a key link in its global network. MoGame, now MFORMA Korea, has become a strategic base in Asia and, in addition to providing world-class publishing services, will aggregate content from hundreds of developers in Korea for MFORMA to distribute to wireless carriers in China, Europe, and the U.S. The company also will continue to distribute MFORMA’s titles from around the world in the Korean marketplace. The merger is the culmination of the two companies’ successful two-year collaboration delivering mobile entertainment applications throughout the world.
