Samsung i780 review published March 20, 2008 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. Samsung i780 is a fantastic phone and if only Samsung wouldn't insist on proprietary connectors for charging and headset - it would be a perfect phone. Anyway it is the first Windows Mobile phone with new resolution of 320x320 pixels. This review is quite interesting but detailed comparison between sensitivity of SiRF Star III chipset (the most sensitive on the market) and the one in Samsung i780 is missing: OK, I’m converted. This is, in my opinion a very nice device, I realise it will not please everyone, as it might appear overcomplicated, but for an all in competent and capable phone that fits as well in the pocket as it does in the hand, includes all of today’s must haves such as GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS2100, CSD, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA to 3.6 Mbps,as well as Bluetooth with A2DP, wifi, built in GPS and A-GPS. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends and a few have already been showing an interest, is the price tag the ultimate killer? To learn more, visit review of Samsung i780. Credit: Matt.
