If you don't have a life and you are one of those people who are squandering their time on Facebook, then here is an application for Windows Mobile that works with Facebook, that will allow you to waste even more time... and it is now in Beta version so software vendor is searching for beta testers with Windows Mobile! Note: there is even an Official Windows Mobile Fan Page on Facebook! More information about FINDME application follows. * * * * * FINDME Location Application for Windows Mobile and Facebook The team behind LobsterTunes has just released into Beta their first Facebook application. FindMe lets your friends know where you are and you find out where they are personally, automatically and securely via your Windows Mobile device. It works with all GSM Windows Mobile 5 and 6 devices. You are in complete control of what your friends see, "At home", "Office", "Playing Soccer", "Walking the dog", "Surfing", "Yoga" etc. If you haven't named a place your position will just show up as "Unknown". and you can always "Go Dark" if you dont want to be seen. If you want, you can add additional location information like zip or post code to a favourite place so FindMe can show your friends a map or directions to where you are. FindMe does not require GPS or additional hardware. Only your last named position and the time you were there is shown. No information about your location history is stored or recorded.
