It is not very long but it gives you impression about Samsung i780 phone, that is one of the best Windows Mobile phone ever if one forgets about very annoying proprietary connectors for synching/charging and stereo headset: Samsung recently released the i780 which looks like an updated version of the i600 but has built in GPS! Samsung i780 In reality the Samsung i780 is an all-new device. First of all it uses WM6 professional, so there is an integrated 320x320 pixel touchscreen. The CPU clocks at 624MHz and there's 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM. The i780 also has a new "optical joystick" for navigating through the OS. To learn more watch video review of Samsung i780 (it is just part one, and unfortunately it is not mentioned whether GPS inside of Samsung i780 is sensitive or not, whether it can compare to SiRF Star III or not...). * * * * * Samsung i780 has not only an increased resolution 320x320 pixels compared to standard 240x320 but also the display is quite big (2.5 inch diagonal). The design is very polished and one gets impression that this is classy phone. However lack of standard in USB connector and stereo headset connector is completely annoying. Unfortunately still some manufacturers of Windows Mobile phones think, that they can rip off customers by selling proprietary cables and don't understand that users want in their Windows Mobile phones standard mini-USB connector and standard 2.5 mm stereo headset connector...
