Motorola RAZR MPx4 - new stylish Pocket PC phone from Motorola - announced March 31, 2005 [Pocket PC phone] | By Edward J. R. We have received first information - from presentations made by Motorola for certain network operator - about new Pocket PC phone from Motorola: Motorola RAZR MPx4. Construction of Motorola RAZR MPx4 is based externally on a very succesful Motorola RAZR V3 phone and internally is an extension (with faster processor and more memory) of the Motorola MPx phone:
Here are some highlights about this new phone:
We have also vague information that Motorola is working on next version of Motorola MPx (not flat one) with UMTS/3G on board, and Motorola MPx220 also with UMTS/3G. However neither names nor exact model names of these phones are known to us. One is for sure: Motorola is about to release series of very interesting Windows Mobile phones, some of them will be "for enterprises" (like Motorola MPx, Motorola MPx220 - but with UMTS/3G) and some will be "for masses, but very stylish" (like Motorola RAZR MPx4). DisclosureThis news item was just an April Fool's Day prank! It was posted on April 1st, 2005, according to this time zone (Wellington, New Zealand). Although we are not located in New Zealand, we thought that it would be fun to post the prank once "April 1st" starts somewhere on this planet! We kindly apologize! We are not posting any lies or jokes the remaining part of the year, just one day in the year and one post! Please note: one is for sure: Motorola is indeed preparing new Pocket PC phone in design similar to Motorola RAZR V3 phone... but neither looks nor specifications are known yet.
