Who as the first one used (and revealed) the name "Universal"? What other features is HTC Universal offering? When it will be presented for the first time to the public? Answers to all thes questions plus some additional photos you will find here! Nobody else gives you the whole story.. only msmobiles.com!
The first one who revealed the term "universal" was German paper magazine Connect, that mentioned it at various pages in its latest issue, and on top of that it even dedicated one page especially to T-Mobile MDA IV calling it jokingly "MDA Universal":
When will be T-Mobile MDA IV showed to the public for the first time? Apparently it will be in March 2005 at CeBIT 2005! It will not be at 3GSM World Congress that takes place next week - yet in February.
Other highlights about T-Mobile MDA IV aka HTC Universal from leaks in German press:

- display: VGA resolution (640x480 pixels), touch screen (unlike Nokia PDA phones that either have keyboard and no touch screen or touch screen and no keyboard, HTC Universal has both!)
- T-Mobile will be embedding e-mail push system from RIM (Reasearch In Motion) or in other words Blackberry service will be availble in this T-Mobile MDA IV device!

- display is rotable with similar principle as in Tablet PC devices - so that phone can be used in PDA mode (for making phone calls, browsing Internet) or in mini-notebook mode (for text typing)
- weight is 210g - exactly the same as in the case of T-Mobile MDA III Pocket PC phone and size is insignificantly bigger than MDA III - but much more features make it up
- T-Mobile MDA IV is designed to work with SIM cards from T-Mobile, so users of SIM and USIM cards from Vodafone, O2 and E-Plus operators (as well as other operators) may have problems with this phone and their SIM cards
- prototype availability: not yet! only non-working models are available at T-Mobile and among journalists
- commercial availability: summer 2005, what may mean September 2005!
