Our conclusion from this interview is: Microsoft simply is not ready yet with software components for 3G phones (like video telephony and SIP) - and that's why we don't see any such phones yet - neither on the market nor just announced... Also we got strong confirmation, that T-Mobile for sure (100%) gonna release Microsoft Smartphone! ... and here is some official information about her: Marketing Manager Mobile Devices Division, EMEA Microsoft Corporation As Marketing Manager in the Mobile Devices Division (MDD), Annemarie Duffy is responsible for marketing a range of new software for intelligent mobile computing devices in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. The Mobile Devices Division focuses on developing software for mobile devices, including Windows Mobile™-based Pocket PCs and Smartphones. In addition, she works closely with industry partners on joint marketing activities to create demand for Windows Mobile-based devices, particularly in the wireless space. Duffy joined Microsoft in 1993 and has enjoyed a variety of technical, sales and marketing roles. Prior to joining MDD in June 2002, she was responsible for Mobility Marketing in the UK for over two years.
